I’m Lukas, founder of Repark, a Vienna-based startup that revolutionizes parking search. Our digital platform makes private parking spaces efficient and accessible – from homes to hotels and open spaces. But what makes Repark truly special is our team. Let me tell you why.
When you start at Repark, you’re thrown right into the deep end. Everyone has access to all information, freedom, and full responsibility for their projects – no time wasted on unnecessary bureaucracy. At Repark, the hierarchy is flat, and we all – yes, even me as founder – are open to direct and honest criticism. Wrong, we even expect it.
Our motto is: “Mindset over skillset.” We want people who take action and are proactive. We act as if we’re market leaders, but we use our resources as if we had none. Our team consists of diverse talents, each bringing something unique, and together we create an electrifying mix of creative diversity. Self-reliance, flexibility, and trust are our building blocks. Each of us can determine our own working hours and presence in the office, and we make all major decisions together at a strategic level. We’re not just colleagues, but also co-deciders who drive the company forward together.
Speaking of co-deciders: Every Repark employee is also invested in the company and holds shares. We believe this is the best way to maintain ownership and motivation for our entire team and ensure that everyone benefits from our shared success.
We’re not just colleagues, but also friends. We often go out for a beer, go bowling, or participate in activities like escape rooms. Once a year, we even go on a company offsite, a workcation, to get to know each other better and spend a good time together – even away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Together, we’ve created Repark from nothing and turned our first concept into a market-ready product. We’ve weathered difficult times, even economic near-death experiences, but that only made us stronger. Today, we can proudly say that we’re generating sales in the four-digit range at various parking spots in Vienna, and already count 8 investors and business angels among our supporters.
